Goat Rock Beach at the Sonoma Coast State Park is a standby while we visit Lindsay’s mother in Cazadero, California. It’s the nearest beach on the coast and is long enough for a good stroll.

Today I drop by before the morning fog breaks and the weekend tourist masses arrive. Because it’s such a photogenic beach, it makes testing my new camera, Canon PowerShot SX260 HS, a breeze.

I love the California coast. Thanks for the visit. I haven’t seen ice plant in years! Love that stuff of my childhood. Good start for your trek.

Absolutely, Mindy. I make a point of visiting at least once whenever we come down here. Every visit is different, depending on the time of day/year, the weather, and my mindset. Thanks for teaching me the name of the plant!
